Interview with London Accessory Week exhibitor AniVienne | London Accessory Week by X Terrace
Anivienne's collections are infrequent, strong in design but still with a distinguished taste for a person who wishes to be different and stylish.
Tell us a little about you and your brand
My name is Ani, originally I am from Armenia but I have been living in Vienna for the last 12 years. At some point I wanted to share my emotions with other people. That is how AniVienne – collections of handcrafted jewellery – was born. It is about creating pieces with emotional relevance, with a desire to do things my own way, whilst sometimes even breaking the rules. The collections are infrequent, strong in design but still with a distinguished taste for a person who wishes to be different and stylish. Every unique collection has its own story inspired by my numerous travel experiences.
What is your dream project?
My dream project is to make a jewellery collection for Saint Laurent.
What is one accessory styling advice you give your clients?
Never be afraid to try something new, to mix and combine different jewellery pieces.
Which of your designs is your favourite? Can you tell us the story behind it?
To be honest to you I love all my collections. I find all of them have character and convey a certain mood. But my jewellery journey started with ViennaMyLove.
ViennaMyLove is a special collection for me being the first one inspired in Vienna. It is a kind of nostalgic one. I found my new wonderful home in Vienna and at the same time, I was missing my beloved Yerevan. The silver bridges symbolise the desire for bringing closer my two homelands. The pearls in the shape of grapes stay for the fine habit of both nations to have a glass of good wine in a circle of closest friends. We would like to meet all of you in person at London Accessory Week!
