« The hope beyond sadness »With this work I wanted to evoke the incessant conflicts that shake our world, from the war in Ukraine to the long list of past conflicts. I wanted to answer a question: What is the fate of all these child victims and young soldiers thrown into the middle of the war, I would like to note the urgency of the wounded as fragile and suffering beings, in need of help and humanization We should realize that it is often very young people who are sent to confront violence and death without forgetting, on the other side, the child victims of these senseless wars. How these children can be thrown into an adult life on both sides to face a reality of violence and horror. The question is: How does a child survive the war, the disappearance of the parents, the vision of the dead and the horror. How to reconstruct their stories, interrupted by the din of life.
