Blue & White Ceramic 3-Wick Lavender Candle

This striking blue and white ceramic bowl has been given a new purpose as a large, hand-poured three-wick candle, scented with 100% pure lavender essential oil. The bowl's speckled glaze and hand-painted floral detailing give it a folk-art quality - somewhere between Mediterranean tile work and traditional country pottery. It's the kind of piece that draws the eye before the flame is even lit.

As with all our repurposed vessels, this bowl carries the gentle marks of age and use. Minor imperfections in the glaze and finish are not flaws - they are what make it one of a kind.

The Vessel

A wide, squat ceramic bowl measuring approximately 13cm wide and 11cm tall, with a beautifully textured blue and white speckled glaze and a band of white floral motifs around the body. Originally a decorative or utilitarian piece, it has been cleaned, prepared and filled with wax to make a substantial, statement candle. Once the wax has burned down, it makes a wonderful planter, utensil holder, trinket bowl or desk piece.

The Scent - Lavender Essential Oil

Scented with 100% pure lavender essential oil, this candle fills a room with the peaceful, soothing scent of lavender fields in full bloom. Soft, floral and deeply calming - perfect for a bedroom, bathroom or any space where you go to unwind. A true essential oil candle with none of the synthetic sharpness of fragrance oils.

The Wax

Filled with approximately 500g of our signature soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend - a natural, clean-burning combination that gives a long, even burn across all three wicks. Expect a generous burn time and excellent scent throw throughout.

After the Flame

Clean out any remaining wax with warm water and enjoy the bowl all over again - as a planter, a fruit bowl, a desk tidy or a decorative piece in its own right. It was worth saving before. It still will be after.

Due to the vintage and repurposed nature of this vessel, glaze variations, minor marks and imperfections should be expected and are part of its charm. Measurements are approximate. Each piece is unique.
