Mitti Kulhad Candle | Natural Wax & Essential Oil

Mitti means earth in Hindi, and that's exactly what these candles are rooted in. Each one is hand-poured into a traditional tandoori clay kulhad cup, the same unglazed terracotta used for chai across South Asia for centuries. The cup holds the warmth, the scent fills the room, and when the wax is gone, the vessel stays.

Made with natural wax and a pure essential oil fragrance, these candles are vegan, cruelty-free, and biodegradable from wick to vessel.

Choose your scent:

Sage - clean, earthy, and grounding. A quiet, herbal scent that feels honest rather than sweet.

Lavender - calm and familiar, without being overpowering. The classic, done simply.

After burning, rinse the cup with warm water and reuse as a planter, desk pot, or candle vessel for a refill.

Candle care: On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing - this prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout. Trim the wick to 5mm before each use.

Each kulhad is hand-thrown and will vary slightly in finish and colour - no two are exactly alike.
