Repurposed Vintage Brass Calligraphy Bowl Candle - Soft Sandalwood

A vintage Middle Eastern brass bowl, its exterior covered in raised Arabic calligraphic script framed by a fine beaded border. Hand-poured with Soft Sandalwood - warm, creamy and quietly grounding, with notes of sandalwood, bergamot, saffron, cinnamon and lily over a base of cedarwood, amber, patchouli and coconut.

The tradition of decorating brassware with calligraphic script has deep roots across Persian, Syrian and Turkish craft - vessels made not just to be used, but to carry meaning. Whatever is written on this bowl, it was put there with intention. The raised lettering catches the light differently at every angle, and the brass has developed the kind of warm, mellow patina that accumulates over a long life well lived.

Wide and shallow at 12cm across, with three wicks, this is a bowl that fills a room - both with fragrance and with presence.

Once the candle has burned down, the bowl is yours to keep, display or use as it was originally intended.

Hand-poured in England using our natural soy, coconut and rapeseed wax blend. Phthalate-free fragrance. Vegan and cruelty-free. Only two available - each one a standalone piece. Every order plants a tree and removes ocean plastic.
