Vintage Carved Soapstone Trinket Pot Candle Pair

A pair of carved soapstone trinket pots from India, each raised on a small pedestal foot with a dragon and phoenix relief band running around the body, and a fitted lid carved in a matching floral medallion pattern. As hand-carved pieces, the two show subtle natural variation between them, part of their charm as a genuine matched pair rather than an identical mould.

Hand-poured with Soft Sandalwood, warm, creamy and quietly grounding, with notes of sandalwood, bergamot, saffron, cinnamon and lily over a base of cedarwood, amber, patchouli and coconut. A fragrance that suits the earthiness of the stone.

These are small candles with a modest amount of wax and a short burn time each, offered primarily as keepsake pieces rather than long-burning candles. The lids can be set aside while burning and replaced between uses to protect the wax.

Once the candles have burned down, the pots are yours to keep. Use them on a dressing table, a windowsill, or wherever small beautiful things belong.
