Tell us a little about you and your brand. Who are you, and what products do you design for your brand?
My name is Andrea Carrillo. I am the owner, designer and producer of Andrea's Closet AC. I create headpieces and accessories. What are your sources of inspiration? We think that any accessory, colour and style that it's needed for an event or to make a difference on a daily basis. So the inspiration comes in a different form and shape it can be anywhere, from an historical event to an emotion.
How would you describe your design/product concept?
We design products that can be in anyone's wardrobe. Doesn't matter the style, we create products that people adapt to their own style.
Do you have a signature style? Tell us more about your most popular designs.
I want to think that I do, but we adapt to any moment. Our most popular designs are the hats and berets.
Who is the target audience for your products?
Usually our clients are women between 25 to 70 who like fashion, exclusivity and quality, because our products are limited production, custom order and bespoke tailoring.
What's your accessory styling advice for your clients?
I think in fashion there is never too much.
Tell us one secret that not many designers or customers know about accessory making and creation?
Perseverance, rigour and improvement all the time.
How do you feel about showcasing your design at London Accessory Week?
I am very excited about being able to show more people my brand and work.
